We believe that our motto, ‘Courtesy, Co-operation and Commitment’, underpins our academic success in a school where ‘Every child matters equally’, as Ofsted commented. We are fortunate to have excellent rebuilt facilities and a thriving sixth form of over 330 students; we are also well supported by parents (of whom 99 percent would recommend us to other families) and an excellent staff. All these help to make us the most popular school in |

Welcome back to everyone after the summer break! We are thrilled to have received so much good news to celebrate in August. We hope that you saw the coverage of Roundhay on the BBC1 national news or in the papers.
At GCSE 86% of pupils gained at least 5 A*- C with the majority including English and Mathematics. This is the sixth year we have broken 70% and 2010 was our best performance ever with a 10% cent rise in both key scores. That followed an A level points score which was our highest for four years as around 40% of the students gained at least one A* or A grade. This has allowed many to progress to the next stage of their careers which is what really counts ( More details can be found on this website and in the first newsletter of the year). Congratulations to everyone!
